I needed scaffolding to reach the ceiling and remove built in shelving on the north wall of the loft. Being on a budget, I didn't want to buy or rent scaffolding, there has to be a way to build a cheap platform. We have a few Pallet Racks in storage that we're not using. The platform fits a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood, so it's large enough to move around a bit and hold tools or paint. I tried to add wheels to move it around easily. The wheels were $5.00 each, not including the hardware (Home Depot) but once they were attached, the strength of the feet were not sturdy enough to hold the wheels flat when moving. So the scaffolding does not have wheels, but it still slides around OK.
